José Boto urged patience with new arrivals Joaquín Freitas and Anthony Valencia, using Erick Pulgar as the reference point. He spoke on Friday at Ninho do Urubu before the pair were presented.

According to Coluna Do Fla, Boto recalled Pulgar’s arrival amid scepticism from parts of the fanbase and media, noting he is now viewed as one of Flamengo’s key figures.
