Ancelotti is continuing to rotate players heavily as he reshapes the group after the tournament. Right-back Wesley is unavailable because of an injury, and Monaco’s Vanderson has been brought in as a late replacement and is now expected to start on the right flank.

Brazil are likely to make several more alterations to assess their depth, with Rayan set to earn a place in the starting XI after scoring the dramatic stoppage-time equaliser in the previous fixture.

In midfield, Manchester United’s Andrey Santos is favoured to come in for Danilo and link up with Bruno Guimarães in the centre of the park.

Even with these experimental tweaks, the team will still rely on their biggest names: Vinícius Júnior and Raphinha are both projected to keep their spots in the first XI.
