Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Daniel Muñoz from Crystal Palace in a deal worth at least £22m reuniting the Colombia international with head coach Oliver Glasner.

The 30-year-old right-back has joined Forest after the clubs reached an agreement, with the deal understood to be worth £20m up front plus a further £2m in potential add-ons.

The transfer sees Muñoz link up with Glasner for a second time after the pair enjoyed considerable success together at Selhurst Park.

Muñoz was one of the Austrian's most trusted players during his 18 months in charge of Palace, making 105 of his 109 appearances for the club under Glasner. The pair helped Palace win the FA Cup and Conference League, while also lifting the Community Shield.

Muñoz joined Palace from Belgian side Genk in January 2024 and quickly established himself as one of the Premier League's most effective attacking full-backs.

He made 109 appearances for the Eagles, scoring 11 goals, including a memorable run during their historic trophy-winning campaign under Glasner.

The Colombia international started Palace's opening Premier League game of the season against Everton but was an unused substitute in their subsequent 4-1 defeat to Manchester City.
