Nottingham Forest have signed right wing-back Daniel Munoz from Crystal Palace. The club said in a statement the 30-year-old has agreed a three-year deal with an option for a further year.

He is the fifth arrival of the summer for head coach Oliver Glasner, following Xaver Schlager, Ousmane Diomande, Steven Benda and Liam Delap. The move also reunites Munoz with Glasner after their spell together at Selhurst Park.

Forest are believed to have paid around £22 million for the Colombia international. Munoz expressed excitement about the squad’s talent and described Forest as a club with a winning mentality, aiming to help his new team-mates achieve great things.

He also highlighted the team’s fight and recent progress, referencing a Europa League semi-final, and believes the club’s objectives are growing.

After spells at Aguilas Doradas and Atletico Nacional, he spent four years with Genk before joining Palace in 2024. In London he featured in the Eagles’ FA Cup, Community Shield and Conference League successes.
