Brigade Loire, FC Nantes’ principal ultras group, will restart its support activities while maintaining its protest against the Kita family, the club’s owners. According to L'Équipe, the group confirmed the decision on Friday, saying nothing has changed at ownership level.

The group had been on pause since 29 January in opposition to the club’s direction. It says full activity will resume from the next away trip to Laval. Nantes, relegated to Ligue 2, open their campaign on Saturday night at home to Red Star at 20:45.

Its stance remains intact, with the same analysis, demands and determination to denounce what it sees as long-standing failings. The group says it will continue to make its messages heard.

The group argues last season’s drop from Ligue 1 strengthened its case. It adds that awareness among Nantes supporters is now widely shared.

With Michel Der Zakarian back in charge and an immediate return the target, the ultras will again back the team. They remain convinced the club should be sold so a coherent, virtuous project respectful of its history can finally take shape.
