Millwall’s Femi Azeez, the former Reading player, looks set to join Albion as the summer transfer deadline approaches.

The Athletic’s David Ornstein first reported that an agreement had been reached.

Suggestions of a breakthrough followed Millwall’s signing of a winger from France, though any link between the two remained unclear.

Albion have started both Premier League games, and the second leg against Tromso, without natural wingers this season.

Azeez registered 11 goals and seven assists for the Lions last season.
