Brighton to step up pursuit of Millwall winger Femi Azeez | OneFootball

According to NY Times, Brighton & Hove Albion plan to step up their move for Millwall winger Femi Azeez.

The 25-year-old right-sided attacker has attracted two formal bids from Brighton, the latest a package just over £10 million.

Millwall view that as well below their valuation, though Brighton hope to reach an agreement before the market closes at 11pm BST on Tuesday.

Azeez joined Millwall from Reading in August 2024 for around £1 million and has 24 months left on his contract.

The Nigeria international is determined to secure a switch to the Amex Stadium and has prioritised Brighton over other interest to play in the Premier League. He was named in the PFA Championship Team of the Season for 2025-26 after scoring 11 goals and supplying seven assists.
