Andrés joined Stuttgart from Real Madrid Castilla for €three million last summer, scoring three goals in 25 Bundesliga appearances. He featured regularly despite competition from then captain Atakan Karazor.

Real Madrid are not expected to exercise their €15 million buyback clause, though they retain the option again next summer.

Brighton are attempting to finalise a deal in the coming hours. The 21-year-old is under contract with Stuttgart until 2030.
