CBF moves Mirassol v Grêmio to Friday for Brasileirão round 19

Mirassol v Grêmio in the 19th round of the Brasileirão has been moved to Friday 17 at 20:00, at Estádio José Maria de Campos Maia.

The game had been set for Thursday 16 at 21:30. The CBF said the switch was a schedule adjustment requested by its Competitions Directorate, leaving the fixture two days before the World Cup final.

The meeting will be the first of three between the sides in around 20 days, with Copa do Brasil last‑16 ties also to come.

Grêmio are using the pause to play a friendly against Chapecoense on Saturday at 18:00. Mirassol have cancelled a planned training game with Internacional due to adjustments to their programme.

In the league table, Mirassol are 19th on 16 points. Grêmio sit 16th with 21, the first team above the relegation zone.
