MIAMI — The Concacaf Central American Cup enters a decisive stage with the start of the Quarter Finals to highlight This Week in Concacaf.

The Concacaf Caribbean Cup continues its Group Stage on its road to the knockout stage. Additionally, four Concacaf nations will take part in the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile starting at the end of the week.

2025 Concacaf Central American Cup

The 2025 Concacaf Central American Cup begins its Quarter Finals stage with the First Leg encounters, as clubs vie for the regional championship and the six available berths in the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup.

Two-time winners and defending champions LD Alajuelense kick off the action against FC Motagua on Tuesday. Wednesday will feature two simultaneous encounters as Club Xelajú MC and Sporting San Miguelito face off in Guatemala, while Real CD España and CD Plaza Amador clash in Honduras. CS Cartaginés and CD Olimpia close the matchweek on Thursday.

2025 Concacaf Caribbean Cup

The 2025 Concacaf Caribbean Cup continues with its fourth matchweek as ten teams strive for the regional championship and the three available berths in the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup.

O&M FC leads Group A with six points and will seek to keep its standing against visiting Moca FC. Mount Pleasant FA, second on goal difference, will look to retake the top spot when it visits Central FC.

Group B leaders Cibao FC visit Juventus de Cayes, as the latter seeks its first victory. Separated on goal difference, third-place Weymouth Wales FC visits fourth-place Defence Force FC as each seeks to jump into the top two.

FIFA U-20 World Cup Chile 2025

The FIFA U-20 World Cup Chile 2025 kicks off on Saturday as 24 nations compete for the trophy. Four Concacaf teams will participate in the World Championship in hopes of winning the tournament for the first time.

Panama will meet Paraguay as part of the opening day encounters on Saturday. Sunday will feature simultaneous encounters as Mexico faces off with Brazil, while Cuba clashes with Argentina. The United States will begin its campaign against New Caledonia the following Monday.
