The CAF Champions League returned to action on Friday, with Al Ahly clinching victory over Young Africans and a draw between Mamelodi Sundowns and Al-Hilal.

More matches are scheduled this weekend as part of matchday 3 in the group stage. Here are the three fixtures you can’t afford to miss.

JS Kabylie – AS FAR

After the tensions between Algeria and Morocco during the last AFCON held in the Cherifian Kingdom, a new Algeria-Morocco showdown is on the horizon—this time at club level. JS Kabylie’s management welcomed the Moroccan delegation at Algiers International Airport with flowers. Let’s hope fair play is on display during this high-stakes clash, scheduled for Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 16:00 GMT in Tizi-Ouzou.

RS Berkane – Pyramids

Both sides have taken maximum points from their first two outings and are now battling for top spot in Group A this Saturday at 19:00 GMT. The Moroccans lifted the CAF Confederation Cup after defeating the Egyptians (0-1) in 2020, before Pyramids took their revenge five years later in the African Super Cup (1-0).

ES Tunis – Simba SC

With just two points from their opening two matches, Espérance Sportive de Tunis are under pressure to win against Simba SC and revive their campaign in Group D. The Blood and Gold cannot afford any slip-ups, especially playing at Rades in front of their home fans. On the other side, the Tanzanian outfit is also under pressure, having lost both of their opening games to Petro Luanda and Stade Malien. Don’t miss this clash on Saturday at 16:00 GMT.
