Hull City full-back Cody Drameh is a target of Charlton Athletic this January, but the Addicks face stiff competition from numerous clubs in the EFL Championship for the 24-year-old's signature.
Following their play-off final victory over Leyton Orient last season, Charlton Athletic confirmed their return to the EFL Championship this season.
Under the guidance of former Luton Town and Stoke City boss Nathan Jones, the Addicks started the season strongly, brushing aside any immediate worries of falling into a relegation battle.
However, Charlton have won just one of their last nine outings after slipping to a painful defeat away to Portsmouth in their most recent outing, where Harvey Knibbs' late strike was quickly cancelled out by Min-Hyeok Yang to give Pompey all three points.
Ahead of the January window, Jones will be looking to add some more depth and quality to once again stave away any relegation fears, and Sky Sports has linked them, Stoke, Preston North End, and Millwall, with Hull full-back Cody Drameh.
Drameh has fallen in the pecking order on Humberside, with Lewie Coyle emerging as Sergej Jakirovic's preferred option at right-back, and could be available this January, with Charlton interested in bringing the Fulham academy graduate back to London this winter.

Football League World's Charlton fan pundit, Chris, has shared their views on whether Drameh would be a welcome addition at The Valley, and whether he would present an upgrade on current right-back James Bree.
Chris said, "A pair of wing-backs is definitely the priority for us this window, and I think Drameh is a player that ticks a lot of boxes."Drameh is a player with a lot of Championship experience, not only being part of a team who have battled against relegation at this level, very similar to the situation we currently find ourselves in, but also being part of a team to get promoted out of this league as well."He's only 24, so he fits the recruitment strategy of signing younger players we can develop, and he also comes with that Championship experience and proven quality, which we significantly lack within the squad."He's also the type of player that would suit a Nathan Jones system, having very good physical attributes with his pace and energy, and would suit that wing-back role perfectly."Being out of favour at Hull doesn't really concern me, as he's proven elsewhere that he has the ability; it's just being at the right club at the right time."Hopefully, that would work in our favour in getting him for a cheaper price, and his lower wages in particular should make him a more attainable target if we are unable to land Bree permanently due to his high wages, or if Southampton decide they want to give him an opportunity."It'd be too early to call whether it would be an upgrade until he steps on the pitch, but if Drameh is available, and assuming the competition for him isn't too bad, I'll be more than happy to push for him in January, as he would definitely improve our squad."

Indeed, Charlton will not have an easy task of obtaining Drameh's signature, with each of Stoke, Preston, and Millwall all vying for the 24-year-old's signature.
The Addicks chances of signing him immediately take a hit when considering the fact that the three aforementioned sides are within touching distance of the play-off places, or in Millwall's case, in the play-off places.
Charlton were busy investing in the playing squad during the summer, with the likes of Sonny Carey, Charlie Kelman, Harvey Knibbs, Thomas Kaminski, and James Bree all joining the club.
Bree joined on loan from Southampton, and has been an ever-present in the side since his arrival, able to play at wing-back or centre-back in Jones' preferred 3-5-2 system.
Should Drameh join, he would offer immediate competition for Bree at wing-back, and at four years younger than the Southampton loanee, his potential is yet to be realised.
