César Huerta and José Juan Macías are both in contention to start for Chivas as the team prepare for their clash with Puebla on Saturday.
The Rojiblancos have struggled for form of late having lost their last two games against Club León and Tigres UANL, but the integration of the two attacking players could help turn their fortunes around.
JJ Macías played 26-minutes of Chivas’ 2-1 defeat to León and despite lacking rhythm was heavily involved with the Rebaño Sagrado’s offensive play.
Huerta, on the other hand, hasn’t featured since the 22nd of January. The 21-year-old reportedly travelled with the squad to face León but didn’t even appear on the bench.
However, the Mexican forward was pictured in training on Monday, hinting at a return to the lineup on this weekend.
Chivas currently sit in ninth place having picked up seven points from the opening six games.
