Bristol City beat Stoke City 2-0 at Ashton Gate to finish 12th in the Championship, with Stoke ending 17th.

Delano Burgzorg scored in the first minute, steering a right-footed finish from the centre of the box to give City an instant lead.

Stoke City's response came when Junior Tchamadeu rattled the bar (24.). Radek Vítek then kept City in front, smothering Steven Nzonzi's effort from close range (42.).

After the restart, Tomi Horvat hit the right post for The Robins (58.). Substitute Sam Bell arrived (81.) and sealed it with a close-range finish from Rob Dickie's header after a corner (88.).

Five minutes were indicated for added time, and Jesuran Rak-Sakyi was booked for simulation in the fifth minute of second half stoppage time.
