Club Brugge KV are reportedly set to announce the signings of Samba Coulibaly (18) and Elijah Ly (18) from Paris Saint-Germain, according to L’Équipe.

Like several of their team-mates, including Pierre Mounguengue (18), who has signed for Ukrainian side Dynamo Kyiv, the two young Parisian players have decided to set off in search of new horizons to launch their professional careers. Coulibaly, regarded as a promising centre-back for the club and highly rated by Yohan Cabaye, the director of the PSG Academy, has therefore turned down the contract offer made by the club’s management.

Ly, for his part, having not been offered a contract, also chose to join the Belgian club. A French Under-17 international winger (two caps), the Pontoise-born player made 24 appearances this season, scoring five goals – including three in the Youth League – and providing three assists.

Both having played a part in the Gambardella Cup campaign, Coulibaly and Ly helped the club lift the trophy for the first time since 1991.
