According to Superdeporte, LaLiga has issued an annex expanding its report on Sunday’s Levante v Valencia derby at the Ciutat de València, while the Policía Nacional, working with Levante, are understood to have identified home fans who threw bottles at Eray Cömert.

Objects were thrown as the Valencia defender left the pitch for the tunnel, minutes after he approached a section of visiting support, lifted a corner flag, draped his shirt over it and waved it. The sequence prompted a tense confrontation that required police and stewards to restore calm, while the report also flagged earlier hate chants between rival ultras.

Throughout the match, Levante displayed messages on the big screens condemning violence and insults, and after the minute 94 chant reminded spectators that offensive chants and behaviour are prohibited.

The RFEF Disciplinary Committee handed three-match bans to Kervin Arriaga and Vicente Iborra after their dismissals by referee Miguel Ortiz. There has been no sanction, fine or closure relating to the crowd incidents, and the post-match flashpoint did not appear in the referee’s report because the officials did not wait for all 22 players to leave.

The full file is now with RFEF committees and the Anti-Violence Commission, so Cömert could face a sanction. Cömert, captain César Tárrega and head coach Carlos Corberán apologised for the corner-flag act.

Among the identified supporters is the alleged thrower whose bottle struck Cömert in the face as he headed to the dressing rooms.
