FC Barcelona have officially announced the signing of Ghanaian winger Abdul Aziz Issah on a permanent transfer after he spent the last two years on loan at the club with Barça Atletic.
The 20-year-old winger has signed a two-year contract with the Blaugrana until 2028, with the option of prolonging it by another twelve months.
“FC Barcelona and Dreams FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of Aziz Issah for two seasons, until June 30, 2028,” the statement read.
“The agreement includes the option to extend the contractual link for one more season. The signing ceremony was attended by FC Barcelona’s Director of Youth Football, Jose Ramon Alexanko.”
Issah joined Barcelona’s reserve team in the summer of 2024 on a loan deal from Dreams FC. However, he made only a couple of appearances for Barça Atletic during his debut campaign with the club.
Last season, the 20-year-old winger featured 20 times for Juliano Belletti’s team, even managing to score four and assist one goal.
It seems that the two-time capped Ghanaian international did enough to convince Barcelona to bring him on board on a permanent transfer.

It must be remembered that during his trip to the USA for the FIFA World Cup, Barcelona president Joan Laporta had already confirmed that the club would be signing Issah permanently.
In fact, the Blaugrana chief had gone as far as suggesting that the young winger would be a part of the first-team setup in the coming season.
However, for now, his signing has been announced for the reserve team and the African attacker is doing pre-season with Barça Atletic as well.
