Corinthians confirm line-up for Santos clássico | OneFootball

Corinthians have confirmed their starting XI to face Santos at Vila Belmiro on Thursday at 19:30 in the fourth round of the Campeonato Paulista.

According to Meu Timao, Dorival Júnior starts Hugo Souza in goal, a back four of Matheuzinho, André Ramalho, Gustavo Henrique and Matheus Bidu, a midfield of Raniele, Breno Bidon, André Luiz, Matheus Pereira and André Carrillo, and Yuri Alberto up front.

Santos, led by Argentine Juan Pablo Vojvoda, are named to start Gabriel Brazão, Igor Vinícius, Adonis Frías, Zé Ivaldo, Vinícius Lira, Willian Arão, João Schmidt, Rollheiser, Barreal, Thaciano and Gabriel Barbosa.

On the Corinthians bench are Felipe Longo, Gabriel Paulista, Rodrigo Garro, Vitinho, Pedro Raul, Kayke, Charles, Hugo, João Pedro Tchoca, Gui Negão, João Vitor Jacaré and Dieguinho. It is Garro’s first involvement of the season following surgery on the scaphoid in his left wrist.

Dorival remains without Memphis Depay, who returned to group training this week. Cacá has an abdominal strain, José Martinez is still dealing with paperwork in his home country, and right back Pedro Milans is on the CBF’s BID, Boletim Informativo Diário, but did not travel.

Corinthians are chasing a second win to gain breathing space and move clear of the relegation zone. They have four points in eighth place, and a win over Santos could lift them four positions.
