Corinthians hail Fatal Fans role in Gisela Robledo renewal | OneFootball

Corinthians have hailed Fatal Fans for enabling a new deal for Colombia forward Gisela Robledo, with director Íris Sesso thanking the sponsor.

According to Meu Timao, the partner fully covered the renewal via an addendum to its agreement with the club, cutting about R$800,000 from costs. Robledo’s previous contract ran to 31 August 2026. The new term is 12 months.

Sesso said the backing is crucial as the team enter a decisive stretch, including the CONMEBOL Libertadores Feminina, and that Robledo’s stay matters on and off the pitch. She thanked Fatal Fans and said they will keep working to meet their aims.

Fatal Fans’ wider deal with the club runs until December 2027 and is worth R$22 million. It can be extended by six months, potentially taking the value to R$31 million.

The brand appears on basketball, futsal and men’s kits, with a recent logo move on the shorts, but not on the Brabas’ shirts. In the women’s game it backs awareness on STIs, anti-harassment, anti-prejudice and violence against women, plus messages supporting the team.

Robledo joined in 2024 after spells in Spain and Colombia. She has played 63 matches, with four goals and nine assists, and has won three trophies. She is the club’s most-used foreign player and is expected to be called up for the 2027 World Cup in Brazil.

Her renewal boosts Corinthians for the 2026 run-in, with the Libertadores and the closing stages of the Paulista and Brasileiro ahead. In the national league they meet Cruzeiro on Monday 7 September, defending a 1-0 quarter-final first-leg lead, kick-off 17:00 at Canindé.
