Corinthians returned to training at CT Joaquim Grava on Wednesday morning after two days off, starting preparations to face Santos.

According to Meu Timao, the morning began with strength work in the gym, followed by physical and technical drills across three stations.

Head coach Fernando Diniz then split the squad into four groups for six-a-side games on a reduced pitch.

Striker Yuri Alberto has begun his physical transition and took part in partial group work. The staff are hopeful of having the number nine available for the Clássico Alvinegro.

Goalkeeper Hugo Souza trained without restrictions and should return. Midfielder André Luiz, out since the sixth of August with a right thigh injury, worked on the pitch with the physiotherapy team.

Corinthians have three more sessions before the derby. Fernando Diniz will be without Breno Bidon, who is suspended after collecting three yellow cards.

The 25th-round meeting is scheduled for 16:00 on Sunday 30 at Neo Química Arena.
