Corinthians schedule Brazil trio’s return for Tuesday, Carrillo ruled out | OneFootball

Corinthians will have Hugo Souza, Matheuzinho and Breno Bidon back at CT Joaquim Grava on Tuesday, while André Carrillo is set to miss Wednesday’s trip to Internacional.

Ge.globo reports that the Brazil trio land on Monday afternoon, so they will miss the post-break return to training but should take part in the final session before travelling after Sunday’s day off.

Carlo Ancelotti used all three during the window. Hugo started the first friendly against Australia, Bidon came off the bench against Australia in the second game and versus India on Saturday, and Matheuzinho featured in all three, starting the first and last.

The only absentee from international duty will be Carrillo, as Peru face Colombia in Miami on Tuesday at 20:45. He is due in São Paulo on Wednesday and will not have enough time to recover physically.

The winger has only just returned from a muscular oedema in his left thigh, which kept him out of Corinthians’ 3-1 defeat to Fluminense before the pause. He played 45 minutes in Saturday’s 2-0 loss to Canada.

Fernando Diniz’s side are seeking to halt a run of six straight Brasileirão defeats and sit 14th on 32 points. They visit Beira-Rio to face the Gaúchos on Wednesday, 7, at 19:30 in the 29th round.
