Corinthians expect Brazil trio to return, André Carrillo to miss Internacional clash | OneFootball

Corinthians expect Brazil trio to return on Tuesday, while André Carrillo will miss the midweek trip to Internacional. The fixture at Beira-Rio is on Wednesday in round 29 of the Campeonato Brasileiro.

According to Globo.com, goalkeeper Hugo Souza, right-back Matheuzinho and midfielder Breno Bidon are due at CT Joaquim Grava on Tuesday morning. They are expected to train as normal, then travel with the squad to Porto Alegre in the afternoon.

Matheuzinho featured in all three Brazil friendlies, twice against Australia and once against India. Breno Bidon played in two, while Hugo Souza appeared only in the first meeting with Australia.

Carrillo is not available to Fernando Diniz, as he remains with Peru to face Colombia in Miami, United States, on Tuesday at 20:45 Brasília time. There is not enough time to reach Porto Alegre, and playing on consecutive days is considered unviable.

Recently recovered from oedema in his left hamstring, he played the second half of Peru’s 2-0 defeat to Canada on Saturday. Corinthians have 32 points, are winless in six rounds, and sit 14th, three points above Grêmio.
