Corinthians are seeking partners to ease costs on a dedicated training centre for the women’s team as construction enters its final phase. The marketing department is canvassing support to limit the financial impact on the club’s budget. The club has already identified two cost-cutting measures and is now weighing a further partnership for the assembly and fit-out stage.

The plan is for partner companies to deliver furnished and decorated modules, covering interior and exterior design, furniture and equipment, so the outlay is reduced as much as possible.

President Osmar Stabile has visited the site in recent days to check progress.

The project moved forward in March when women’s football director Iris Sesso said the club had signed a contract with the company tasked with delivering the new set-up. The build will use container units, a model the club has adopted before, including a 2018 partnership with Truckvan that installed two container changing rooms for 16 players at the academy.
