Corinthians have travelled to Paraná without centre-back Gustavo Henrique after a tactical session in São Paulo on Saturday. They face Cascavel in a friendly at Estádio Municipal Arnaldo Busato on Sunday at 16:00 Brasília time.

According to Globo.com, Gustavo Henrique is being treated for pain in the hip flexor area. He appeared on the pitch but was not included, and the club did not disclose details of his work.

Other absentees are the defender João Pedro Tchoca, preserved by coach Fernando Diniz despite training normally after inguinal hernia surgery, the forward Vitinho and left-back Hugo, both still in physical transition work, and the forward Kayke, who is recovering from surgery on his left knee.

Memphis Depay, who is negotiating a contract renewal with Corinthians, does not yet have a date to potentially return to CT Joaquim Grava.

A likely XI to face Cascavel is Hugo Souza, Matheuzinho, André Ramalho, Gabriel Paulista and Matheus Bidu, Raniele, André, Breno Bidon and Rodrigo Garro, Kaio César and Yuri Alberto.

Saturday's work began with a tactical video, gym activation and a warm-up on the pitch. The squad then did a possession drill, followed by a 10 v 10 tactical exercise, and finished with set-piece routines.

Corinthians' first competitive match after the World Cup is on the 23rd of this month at 19:30, against Remo, in the 19th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
