Corinthians up U17 midfielder’s clause, new deals for two prospects

Corinthians is continuing its policy of contract renewals with youth academy players, aiming to safeguard its top talents and prevent further losses, such as what happened with Kauê Furquim. The most recent highlight is Heitor, starting midfielder for the U-17 in 2025, who signed a contract addendum this week, according to information released by the portal Meu Timão and confirmed by Central do Timão.

With the new signing, Heitor’s release clauses for the Brazilian market increased from R$ 10 million to R$ 16 million, while for the international market the value jumped from 30 to 50 million euros (R$ 311.83 million), both representing a 60% increase. The player’s contract runs until January 2028.

In total, after the early departure of Kauê Furquim to Bahia, the City Group’s representative in Brazil who took advantage of the player’s low domestic release clause to sign him, Corinthians has already made nine contract addendums in the youth academy, covering, in addition to Heitor, the young players Lucca Caramico, Léo Amistá, Cristian Júnior, Gui Amorim, Nícollas, André Luiz, João Victor Jacaré, and Gui Negão. In all cases, there was an increase in the release clauses.

Central do Timão has also learned that other addendums are in progress. Forward Gui Bom, a standout for the U-17, is close to extending his contract with Corinthians after a positive season in which he scored 15 goals in 30 matches for the U-17 and U-20. The club is just waiting for the player’s recovery, as he is undergoing conservative treatment on his knee, and the results of medical exams to formalize the agreement. The young player’s current contract runs until November 2027.

Finally, the People’s Team is also in advanced talks to sign a contract addendum with right-back Kaio Vinícius, also a member of the U-17. The young athlete had already signed his first professional contract with the club last year, and is now close to celebrating an extension to increase his value.
