A quiet Monday brought a notable administrative twist at Corinthians, as Memphis Depay’s registration no longer appears in the Federação Paulista de Futebol and Confederação Brasileira de Futebol records.
According to Meu Timao, the listing’s removal was observed on Monday, while the club’s focus also shifts to the squad’s return and upcoming fixtures.
The players are due back at the training centre on Thursday to begin preparations for the second half of the campaign.
The Copa do Brasil round-of-16 ties against Internacional will be staged in early August, with dates and kick-off times now set.
In the women’s Under-17 league on Saturday, Corinthians beat UDA 3-2, with Mariela Baiak scoring the final goal, her first for the club.
Lucas Martins said a recent defeat did not reflect the team’s performance, adding that the side will keep fighting to climb the table and target a place in the knockout phase.
Corinthians ended the first half of 2026 with an average of 38,313 paying supporters across 16 matches at Neo Química Arena, the third best in the past five years, totalling 613,015 attendees.
Separately, the CBF set the dates for the end of the first round and the start of the second round of the Campeonato Brasileiro on Monday.
