Coventry City ‘in advanced talks’ to sign Eintracht Frankfurt defender Aurèle Amenda

Coventry City are ‘in advanced talks’ to sign Eintracht Frankfurt defender Aurèle Amenda, according to Sky Germany.

The newly-promoted Premier League club, managed by England legend Frank Lampard, are also said to be at an advanced stage in discussions with the 22-year-old.

Amenda moved to Eintracht Frankfurt for €9.5 million in January 2024, and has made 42 appearances for the German side. He featured 29 times in the 2025/26 campaign.

The centre-back is part of Switzerland’s World Cup squad, but did not play in any of their first three matches.

A move to England could be on the cards for Amenda.
