Crystal Palace complete season-long loan for Axel Disasi from Chelsea | OneFootball

Crystal Palace have completed the season-long loan signing of Axel Disasi from Chelsea, with no option or obligation to make the move permanent.

The centre-back has not appeared for Chelsea since January 2025. He is Palace’s sixth signing of the summer, following Dwight McNeil, Anan Khalaili, Zavier Gozo, Oscar Mingueza and Takehiro Tomiyasu.

Disasi joined West Ham United on loan in January and started 14 league games in the second half of last season. Their relegation to the second tier was confirmed on the final day.

He moved to Chelsea from Monaco in 2023 and has made 61 appearances, scoring five goals. He featured 10 times for Aston Villa during a loan in the latter half of 2024-25.

He was frozen out of the Chelsea squad at the start of the following season.

Under new manager Pierre Sage, Palace began the campaign with a 2-0 defeat at Everton on Saturday. They host Manchester City on Friday.
