If the Guinean doesn't wake up soon, the entire BVB attacking project could collapse.

Dortmund: Serhou Guirassy in a slump?
Borussia Dortmund is going through a rough patch with their striker Serhou Guirassy. Once hailed as one of the club’s most promising attacking hopes, the Guinean forward has lost his scoring touch: just one goal in his last seven matches across all competitions.
Niko Kovac remains publicly confident. Less than three weeks ago, the coach assured that Guirassy would soon rediscover his clinical edge. But despite getting significant minutes since returning from injury, the former Stuttgart man is struggling to recapture the form he showed at the start of the season, when he netted five times in four games.
Kovac admitted that his player had been physically hampered—first by a setback during preseason, then by a knock picked up recently. The coach hoped that accumulating minutes would help Guirassy regain his confidence. For now, that bet isn’t paying off.
The result: Dortmund is missing a true finisher in the box. The Guinean is often isolated and no longer poses the same threat in the final third. It's a situation that's starting to weigh on the team, especially as BVB can no longer afford to drop points.
