Eintracht Frankfurt confirm Theate departure

Eintracht Frankfurt have confirmed the departure of Belgium international Arthur Theate, who has joined Bologna FC on a season-long loan.

The deal includes an option for the Italian Serie A side to make the transfer permanent.

“We would like to thank Arthur for the past two years spent with us and all of his commitment to Eintracht Frankfurt,” said Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Timmo Hardung.

“He quickly established himself as an important part of our team, and we would like to wish him all the very best for the future both on and off the pitch in Bologna.”

Theate initially joined Eintracht Frankfurt on loan from Stade Rennais in the summer of 2024 before the German club made his move permanent a year later.
