Eintracht Frankfurt keeping tabs on Ajax defender Baas

According to Absolut Fussball's sources, the Ajax Amsterdam's Youri Baas is on Markus Krösche's shortlist.

The versatile defender could potentially join Eintracht Frankfurt before transfer deadline day at the end of August.

Baas is under contract with his boyhood club until 2028, and as things stand, Ajax would likely be willing to let the 23-year-old go.

However, it remains to be seen what range the Dutch club's demands might be and how much Frankfurt would be prepared to pay.

Another candidate to strengthen the defense of the Hessen giants remains Lilian Brassier from Ligue 1 side Stade Rennes.

It was recently reported that an agreement between the clubs, as well as between Eintracht Frankfurt and Brassier, was pending.
