Elye Wahi starts up front for Côte d'Ivoire against Ecuador’s Willian Pacho

Elye Wahi leads the line alongside Nicolas Pépé as Côte d'Ivoire open their World Cup against Ecuador in Philadelphia on Monday morning, kick-off 1am.
According to L'Équipe, this is Côte d'Ivoire’s first World Cup appearance in 12 years.
For Ecuador, PSG defender Willian Pacho starts in a back three with Piero Hincapié and Joel Ordonez, and Enner Valencia leads the attack in his third World Cup.
Côte d'Ivoire also start Y. Fofana in goal, plus G. Doué, Singo, Agbadou, Konan, Y. Diomandé, Seko Fofana, Franck Kessié and B. Touré.
Ecuador complete their XI with Galindez in goal, and Vite, M. Caicedo, Franco, Minda, Teboah and Plata.
