Former Premier League (PSL) coach Joel Masutha has been announced as the new head coach of SAFA Limpopo ABC Motsepe League outfit Musina United.
This comes after Masutha was axed by Motsepe Foundation Championship side Black Leopards a fortnight ago, with Mabhuti Khenyeza taking over the reins.
Lidoda Duvha are currently languishing in 14th place and are level on points with the first relegation spot, having picked up eight points in nine league outings under Masutha.
Masutha swiftly stepped back into the dugout, where he is expected to guide Musina to a league title in order to enhance their promotion chances.
Musina sit in position nine and have picked up a solitary point in their first two league matches of the 2025/26 campaign in the Limpopo third division.
Having overseen training on Wednesday morning, Masutha will be in charge when Musina take on his former club Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila [TTM] on Saturday, 22 November.
With his experience in the South African topflight and second tier, the ex-Baroka FC, Venda FC and Chippa United mentor will undoubtedly be aiming to win the championship.
Clinching the league will provide Musina with the opportunity to book their spot in the ABC Motsepe League National Playoffs and challenge for promotion to the Motsepe Foundation championship.
