“Exactly the same as last year” Capello says Juventus has not changed | OneFootball

Juventus Still Searching for Improvement

Fortunately for Juventus, they managed to withstand the late pressure and secure the result. However, the performance was far from ideal, particularly given the expectations surrounding the team and the opportunity to make a strong impression against Frosinone.

The result gives Juventus three points, but their display suggests there is still considerable work to be done. The Old Lady knows that improvements are necessary if the club is to enjoy a stronger campaign, and the players at the Allianz Stadium will be expected to respond in their next fixture.

Capello’s assessment was particularly critical, suggesting that the performance against Frosinone offered little evidence of meaningful change from the previous season. Calciomercato reported his comments:

” The Juventus we saw yesterday in Frosinone is exactly the same as last year: nothing new, nothing different. The ball continues to move too slowly, and the most positive note for the Bianconeri in their league debut of the season was undoubtedly Conceiçao, the man capable of injecting energy into his entire team.”
