Leeds United clinch qualification in dramatic fashion in the FA Cup. Up against Birmingham City, the Leeds side had to go all the way to penalties to secure their spot.

After a tightly contested first half, Lukas Nmecha broke the deadlock just after the restart. But as Leeds looked set to book their place, Patrick Roberts struck in the 89th minute to snatch a late equalizer.

Neither extra time nor a flurry of late chances could separate the two teams. Ultimately, it was in the nerve-racking penalty shootout that Leeds made the difference (4-2), demonstrating greater composure and control.
