Leeds United are at the centre of a goalkeeper reshuffle, with Lucas Perri set to depart and a move for Michael Zetterer potentially coming into focus.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Torino have completed a loan for Perri with a buy option, and Leeds have given him permission to travel.

The churn follows Illan Meslier joining Arsenal on a free, with a switch to Marseille also possible, and Karl Darlow moving to Manchester United to cover Senne Lammens, who had previously been close to joining Leeds. Leeds have also confirmed the club-record signing of James Trafford from Man City.

Earlier in the summer, Freiburg goalkeeper Noah Atubolu was linked with England, but instead he joined Frankfurt, with the deal due to be finalised within 24 hours at the time.

With Frankfurt bringing in Atubolu, Zetterer could drop to third choice and may prefer to leave. Leeds want a back-up despite Trafford’s arrival and are intent on Zetterer, who is believed to cost about £4.3m, though there have been murmurs he wished to stay. The Atubolu move could pave the way.
