FFF executive refuses Bordeaux reinstatement to National two | OneFootball

L'Équipe reports that the FFF executive committee has declined to ask the DNCG to re-examine Bordeaux’s case, leaving the club excluded from national competitions and placed in Régional one.

The Comex met exceptionally at 18:00 on Thursday after political pressure from the Élysée and the Sports Ministry. It had declined to reconvene late last week to revisit the mid-July DNCG rulings. The session followed a letter on Wednesday from Sports Minister Marina Ferrari asking whether Bordeaux could be integrated into National two.

To answer the request, the federation took legal advice from the Gide law firm, which concluded there was no secure route in the regulations to reopen the file. The FFF said it had strictly followed its rules and that rulings on Bordeaux’s appeals had upheld them.

Both the CNOSF conciliator and the Administrative Court decided there were no grounds to revisit the case because on 15 July, before the federal DNCG appeal, there was no buyer and the promised funds were absent. After presentations and exchanges, no Comex member supported asking the DNCG to change position.

The FFF also says it has received no detailed takeover plan from the new shareholders, describing the paperwork as slight, and adds that many falsehoods have circulated. It underlined equal treatment for all clubs and argued that reinstating Bordeaux would have been arbitrary and would have undermined the DNCG’s credibility. The dossier now returns to the Ligue de Nouvelle-Aquitaine, and judicial liquidation appears more conceivable than ever.
