Fiorentina have rejected Nottingham Forest’s offer for Dodo, judging the proposal too low for the Brazil full-back.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Forest submitted a formal bid of seven million euros on Wednesday. The Viola want at least 10 million euros, so the English club would need to improve their offer to secure the player.
Any agreement would be a permanent transfer, with his contract at the Viola expiring next summer.
Dodo is among the players Fiorentina consider available this window, alongside Nicolo Fagioli, Marco Brescianini and Giovanni Fabbian, although concrete interest has been limited.
The 27-year-old joined from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2022 and started Monday’s 4-0 defeat at Roma, drawing one of the lowest ratings on a difficult night.
