A Real Madrid delegation led by president Florentino Pérez visited Ceuta on Friday, three days after a row involving Kylian Mbappé, Vinicius and Ibrahima Konaté. L'Équipe reports that the controversy centred on a T-shirt showing support for residents of the Spanish enclave.

The enclave continues to face a prolonged migration crisis.

Pérez arrived 25 minutes behind the scheduled 11:30, greeted by chants of 'Florentino, Florentino' and a flurry of selfie requests.

Around 100 onlookers, many of them Real Madrid supporters, waited on the steps of the Ayuntamiento de Ceuta, the autonomous city's town hall.

Among them was the emblematic fan Dudú, whose real name is Mohamed Mustafa, as the president attended an official reception.
