Fofana returns to Porto on loan in deal running to 2027

Seko Fofana has rejoined Porto on loan from Rennes, the move made official on Wednesday.

The club said in a statement that the deal runs until 30 June 2027 and did not involve any intermediaries.

The agreement carries no fee beyond wages and includes no option to buy the 31-year-old Ivory Coast international.

Fofana previously spent the second half of last season with Porto, making 18 appearances and scoring three goals as they went on to win the title.

Between his exit and this return, he played at the 2026 World Cup, featuring twice for Ivory Coast.
