Following in Ndiaye’s footsteps: Bayern trialist makes a good impression | OneFootball

FC Bayern Munich recently welcomed an exciting guest to training. Rodrigo Dudok, a 19-year-old forward from Racing Club Montevideo, came to Säbener Straße for a tryout. The Uruguayan wanted to make a positive impression and had set his sights high. 

No wonder, since it wasn’t that long ago that another trial player managed to make his way to FC Bayern through a series of twists and turns. We’re talking about Bara Sapoko Ndiaye, who has since even been signed to a permanent contract.

Dudok isn’t quite there yet, but he has certainly made a good first impression in training.

FC Bayern: Is Dudok also a possibility for the future?

For the past few days, the versatile attacking player has been a guest at training with the record champions. “The kid is with us on the U23 team. He’s from our partner club in South America. He’s just here to be here, train, and adapt. It’s also about us getting a look at him—but for now, that’s for the reserve team,” Max Eberl recently explained in response to a BILD inquiry.

Dudok has already gained experience playing with the pros in Uruguay. He has appeared in several competitive matches for Racing Club Montevideo so far. The visit to Bayern is also a reward for his strong performances and a really good opportunity for him. And he’s reportedly already made a positive impression.

Nevertheless, after the trial, he’ll head back to South America. Bayern will continue to keep an eye on him, however, and closely monitor his development. Dudok himself, of course, hopes he can follow in Ndiaye’s footsteps. The midfielder also completed a trial in Munich, trained with the first team, and was later loaned out by Bayern for an extended trial before being signed permanently.
