In a move that underscores the fluid nature of South African football, a fresh chapter is beginning for a former Kaizer Chiefs prospect, this time with the club's storied rivals.

Ayanda Rorwana, a midfielder who once honed his skills within the Chiefs' esteemed academy and featured for their reserve team, has now been welcomed into the fold of Orlando Pirates' feeder squad. This strategic acquisition means the Buccaneers are poised to benefit from the very development system that cultivated Rorwana, a system renowned for producing incredible talent.

The feeder team, which previously operated under the name Pele Pele FC but now simply bears the 'Pirates' moniker, competes in the ABC Motsepe League a known breeding ground for future first-team stars. For Rorwana, this represents a pivotal opportunity for career revival.

Now 27, his journey has included loan spells at Swallows FC and Pretoria Callies following his release from Kaizer Chiefs in 2021. His new mission is clear: to reignite his promise and ultimately carve out a name for himself within the Buccaneers' legacy.
