Former Augsburg centre-back Kevin Danso is reportedly on the verge of joining Sunderland on loan from Tottenham Hotspur.
According to Sky Sports, the 27-year-old Austria international is set to join the Black Cats on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy and is currently undergoing his medical.

Augsburg sold Danso to French side RC Lens for €8 million in 2021 before he moved to Tottenham on an initial loan deal that was made permanent for €25 million in the summer of 2025.
There has since been speculation over a possible return to the Bundesliga, but the Austria international has now opted for another route and looks set to remain in England.
