Goalkeeper Steven Benda is expected to stay at Fulham until the end of the season.

Benda returned from a loan spell at Championship side Millwall at the start of January and had been expected to leave the club in search of regular first-team minutes.

Standard Sport understands, though, that the 27-year-old is now expected to stay in west London.

Clubs in Europe maintain an interest in a loan deal, but an exit before tonight's 7pm deadline is considered unlikely.

Benda has made just four senior appearances since joining from Swansea City in 2023, with Bernd Leno firmly established as the club's first-choice goalkeeper.

Another player unlikely to be on the move is PSV Eindhoven forward Ricardo Pepi, with Fulham set to admit defeat in their pursuit of the USA international.

Pepi has been a longstanding target for Fulham, who tabled a bid for the forward last weekend.

But with PSV struggling to find a replacement late in the window, a deal will be tough to revive.

It is otherwise expected to be a fairly quiet end to the window for Fulham, who wrapped up a £27million deal for winger Oscar Bobb last week.

Bobb is currently working his way back from a hamstring injury and missed Fulham's 3-2 defeat to Manchester United on Sunday.

Marco Silva has said he hopes the Norway international will be in contention for next weekend's game at home to Everton.
