Gabriel Martinelli has joined Al-Hilal on a four-year deal, with the signing completed at Almajdiah Sport Hub on Thursday evening. The club said in a statement that the agreement was concluded under the chairmanship of His Highness Prince Nawaf bin Saad.

Al-Hilal also thanked His Royal Highness Prince Alwaleed bin Talal for funding the transfer and for his continued backing of the club.

The 25-year-old forward began his senior career with Ituano, moving to Arsenal in 2019. He represented the English club in domestic and continental competitions, scoring 62 goals and providing numerous assists.

Martinelli won domestic honours with Arsenal, including the Premier League, the FA Cup and the Community Shield. He also featured in the UEFA Champions League.

Internationally, he has represented Brazil at major tournaments, including the 2022 and 2026 FIFA World Cups. With the Brazil U23s, he helped win gold at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Martinelli is expected to join first-team training this evening as Al-Hilal prepare to face Al-Shabab on Friday in the Roshn Saudi League.
