Al-Hilal have completed the signing of Brazilian winger Gabriel Martinelli from Arsenal on a four-year contract running to 2030. The club said in a statement that he is their third foreign arrival of the summer.

The announcement came 48 hours after he landed in Riyadh on Tuesday, with the terms already agreed.

The fee was not disclosed, though reports have suggested it exceeds 65 million euros including add-ons. The club thanked owner Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal for funding the deal, as with earlier summer imports.

Martinelli will train on Thursday as he gears up for Friday’s Riyadh derby against Al-Shabab at the SHG Arena.

All three arrived from the Premier League, with Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville joining from West Ham and English striker Ollie Watkins from Aston Villa. Summerville and Watkins each scored in Tuesday’s 3-0 Clasico victory over Al-Ahli. The trio should give Al-Hilal a fearsome attacking edge.
