Centre-back Gabriel Paulista has stepped up his recovery, joining in parts of Corinthians training, while Yuri Alberto remains in transition and should be available to Fernando Diniz when the schedule resumes.
According to Meu Timao, Paulista began his physical transition during Wednesday's session at CT Joaquim Grava, working partially with the group.
He missed the 20 September game against Fluminense with a sprain of the medial collateral ligament in his right knee and has not required surgery. The injury usually needs four to 12 weeks, which could rule him out against Internacional and Palmeiras after the FIFA break, although medical chief Ricardo Galotti had projected a return versus the Gaúcho side.
Yuri Alberto suffered a grade 2 muscle injury in his right hamstring late in July against Athletico Paranaense. He rejoined parts of training in August, then regressed in early September with muscular fibrosis, returned to the medical department and missed the Libertadores quarter-finals with Estudiantes.
Both players were back on 23 September, before the rest of the squad reassembled two days later, with Zakaria Labyad and Kayke also reporting early.
Corinthians enter the run-in seeking to pull clear of danger, sitting 14th on 32 points, three ahead of Grêmio who occupy the first relegation place. Their next match is at Internacional on Wednesday 7 October at Beira-Rio, 19:30, in the 29th round of the Brasileirão.
