Swansea City Ladies went seven points clear at the top of the Genero Adran Premier with a 2-1 win over second-placed Cardiff Met.

Chloe Chivers had the Swans in front after 11 minutes of the Wednesday evening top-two clash, Lauren Hutton-Townsend was denied a leveller by the bar before half time, with the follow up also coming off the woodwork.
Stacey John-Davis doubled the lead midway through the second half, with Emily Allen replying immediately keep it tense to the finish.

This weekend it’s Semi-Final time in the FA of Wales Women’s Cup, with Pontypridd Town and Cardiff Met playing at Jenner Park, Barry and Cardiff City FC v Swansea at Penydarren Park, Merthyr – both 2pm KO’s. The winners will meet in the Final, to be played 24 April.
