Marseille will move for a replacement, with Paraguayan Orlando Gill among the targets. The San Lorenzo keeper shone for Paraguay at the last World Cup.

Gill is on a four-man shortlist being assessed after his World Cup displays, which sparked European interest. He could now leave San Lorenzo.

Leeds United want to sign him, while Aston Villa, Ipswich Town and Fiorentina have also monitored him during this window.

San Lorenzo hold an eight million dollars release clause for Gill, offering a realistic sale to boost finances. Rulli’s exit has accelerated Marseille’s search, with Gill one candidate to take the vacant shirt.
