Getafe star labelled as ‘very likely to leave’ this summer | OneFootball

A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga outfit Getafe is expected to be on the move before the summer is out.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Juan Berrocal as the player in question.

Stopper Berrocal for his part played something of a bit part role for Getafe over the course of the 2024/25 campaign.

All told, the 26-year-old featured in half of the Azulones’ La Liga fixtures, 11 of them from the off.

As alluded to above, though, if the latest word stemming from the media this week is anything to go by, then Berrocal’s stint in Madrid appears to be inching towards an imminent close.

As per a report from MD:

‘The Andalusian center-back has several offers on the table and is very likely to leave this summer.’

According to Marca, amongst the proposals in front of Berrocal is one from MLS outfit Atlanta United, who are understood to be eyeing a loan deal featuring an option to buy.
